John-Mark Gurney
John-Mark Gurney has been using FreeBSD since 1994 and a committer since 1997. His last 12 years has been spent working in the security industry, at first, nCircle (now TripWire) and then at Cryptography Research. He is now doing independent consulting, looking to continue to improve FreeBSD.
He has contributed to many different parts of FreeBSD included kqueue, ports to other architectures (sparc64, sun4v and arm) and most recently AES-NI improvements for OpenCrypto used by GELI and IPsec.
