Accommodations

Some but not all hotels will honour the group rate for a day or two before and/or after the conference - check with the hotel directly for clarification.

On-Campus

The only on-campus options for accommodations are through UOttawa Housing.

UOttawa Residences

UOttawa Residence always sells out: book early.

We have been able to reserve some rooms with UOttawa Residences. A smaller-than-usual number of rooms are available at U90, and additional rooms are available at both Rideau and Henderson residences, which are both within reasonable walking distance.

Rideau residence is the former Quality Inn on Rideau St. at the corner of King Edward Ave., and Henderson is in a quiet area at the south end of campus.

  1-bedroom and 2-bedroom private suites are available, both for $105/night.

  Double-occupancy suites are available for $115/night.

  Premium Rooms are available for $130/night.

The negotiated rates are valid for June 7th through June 11th; if you want to stay before or after the conference this year, you may want to consider calling or emailing instead of using the online booking system.

The booking code expires at Noon on Monday May 9th, 2016.

Les Suites

(Les Suites is almost exactly the same distance from the conference sessions as U90, but in the opposite direction.)

Premiere Two Bedroom Suites: $269/night (single/double occupancy)

Our 1000 sq. ft. Premiere Two-Bedroom Suite features all the luxurious amenities of our Premiere One-Bedroom Suite, with the added convenience of a second bedroom and two bathrooms*. These suites features a fully equipped kitchen, 2 TV’s with HD channels, ensuite washer and dryer, private balcony, and separate living and sleeping areas.
* The majority of our two-bedroom suites include a second bathroom. If you require a second bathroom, please let us know when you book your reservation and we’ll do our best to accommodate your request.

Other Nearby Hotels

Also nearby are the Novotel (adjacent to Les Suites), the Extended Stay Canada - Ottawa on Cooper St., and the Marriott Courtyard Ottawa on Dalhousie St., but no group rates have been negotiated with either of these so far.  For 2016, if you're staying on the west side of the Rideau Canal, be aware of the construction-related detour at Campus Station if you use the pedestrian bridge at Somerset St.
